Basing ourselves at an exclusive remote naturalist lodge on the Seal River Estuary that is only accessible by floatplane and/or helicopter, we'll provide a wildlife viewing extravaganza in solitude, free of the regimentation characterized by the other alternatives. Discover the sheer natural beauty of West Hudson Bay, where polar bears roam and beluga whales swim. Have the opportunity to see the world from above, spotting caribou, snowy owls, gyrfalcon, ptarmigan, seal, fox, pine martin, Arctic hare, and possibly wolverine and wolf from above. Swim with the whales and trek through icy planes, all in the hands of experienced guides.

Day 1 Winnipeg/ Hudson Bay
In a flight over Hudson Bay be prepared to see large pods of whales, bird life, seals, caribou and even polar bears. We can also witness the Aurora Borealis tonight, a spectacular light phenomenon only visible in the most northern and southern parts of the earth.
Days 2-5 Hudson Bay
Boat trips, icy hikes, sunset canoeing and even swimming beluga whales are activities we partake in at Hudson Bay. The wildlife is astounding, and in such a stunning environment, where else could you possibly wish to be?
Day 6 Churchill
After a final walk around, or excursion out to Hudson Bay, we take a float plane to Churchill, where we have a free day to relax and explore the town.
Day 7 Winnipeg
After a free morning exploring Churchill, we board a plane to Winnipeg, where we end our journey.

On 07 June the Australian Government issued an updated travel warning for East Timor strongly advising against travel to East Timor because of the extremely dangerous security situation. Australians in the country are advised to leave. The Travel Warning remains at Category 5 - Do Not Travel.
On Tuesday 07 June we have taken the decision to cancel the remainder of our East Timor trips scheduled to depart in 2006. All travellers will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another trip or obtain a full refund (land content only). We very much regret having to take this action and our thoughts and sympathies are with the people of East Timor during this troubled time.
We are confident of being able to resume our normal schedule of trips to East Timor in 2007 and hope that those travellers who have had to cancel their plans this year will travel with us to East Timor in 2007.
