Amsterdam - Netherlands
Amsterdam is very pretty; a city of canals and bridges, parks and cafes, so to get around, do it the Dutch way - by bicycle!
Hamburg - Germany
Hamburg was founded at the beginning of 9th century AD as a base for Christian missions to Scandinavia and it started to become an important commercial centre in the 12th century. In present day times as the second largest of Germany's cities, it remains an important harbour and a centre for industry and commerce.
Tilbury - UK
Tilbury today is a small town on the north side of the River Thames, about 45 kilometres (28 miles) east from the centre of London. The town is dominated by the docks which have facilities for many types of cargo, such as timber, fruit, cement, vehicles and containers.
Depending on time in port, access to London is made easy via train from the centre of town to reach Fenchurch Street Station with connections to the London underground (allow approximately one hour).
Your journey begins just on the outskirts of London. Arrive early to take in the sights of Londontown such as the famous tower and Buckingham Palace or maybe check out some world class art at the Tate Museum or go people watching in Soho.
Antwerp - Belgium
It was in the 13th century that Antwerp, a small settlement that was already a thousand year old, really began to grow. In contrast, there is the 19th century urban expansion with its middle-class houses in all sorts of neo-styles.
Antwerp is indisputably the diamond centre of the world. It is also the hometown of some of the famous Flemish painters such us Teniers, Jacob Jordaens, Antoon Van Dyck and in particular, Pieter Paul Rubens.
Dakar - Senegal
Welcome to Africa! It is here that the journey concludes. Our berth is within easy
reach of the centre of Dakar. To arrive at Dakar harbour vessels pass Gorée Island. The centre of town can be easily reached by local taxi, or by foot for the adventurous but not recommended with your luggage.
Dakar is one of the finest cities in West Africa, with a cosmopolitan atmosphere, temperate climate, wide range of restaurants, bars and nightclubs and many interesting things to see and do.

On 07 June the Australian Government issued an updated travel warning for East Timor strongly advising against travel to East Timor because of the extremely dangerous security situation. Australians in the country are advised to leave. The Travel Warning remains at Category 5 - Do Not Travel.
On Tuesday 07 June we have taken the decision to cancel the remainder of our East Timor trips scheduled to depart in 2006. All travellers will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another trip or obtain a full refund (land content only). We very much regret having to take this action and our thoughts and sympathies are with the people of East Timor during this troubled time.
We are confident of being able to resume our normal schedule of trips to East Timor in 2007 and hope that those travellers who have had to cancel their plans this year will travel with us to East Timor in 2007.
