Our Capsule Hotel is located in Shinjuku, the nightlife and entertainment centre of Japan's bustling capital.
History of Shinjuku
Originating as a collection of inns built by a feudal lord along a highway out of the capital in the early 1700s it became a new 'station' or stopping point on the road (the meaning of the name Shinjuku). Shinjuku is a key shopping and nightlife part of Tokyo.
Itinerary Detail
Arriving into Tokyo, the world's most populous city with some 35 million residents, is to arrive into a neon-lit mega-city!
To give you an insight into this bustling city and impart some valuable local knowledge, a local guide will meet you at the JR (Japan Rail) Shinjuku station’s east exit and take you to the hotel. On arrival at your Capsule Hotel the guide will help you check in to the accommodation and explain where to stow your shoes the bulk of your luggage (have an overnight bag to take in to your capsule). They will then take you on an evening tour of the surrounding area, give you some dining suggestions and give you maps and information to make the most of your time in Tokyo.

On 07 June the Australian Government issued an updated travel warning for East Timor strongly advising against travel to East Timor because of the extremely dangerous security situation. Australians in the country are advised to leave. The Travel Warning remains at Category 5 - Do Not Travel.
On Tuesday 07 June we have taken the decision to cancel the remainder of our East Timor trips scheduled to depart in 2006. All travellers will be notified and given the opportunity to transfer to another trip or obtain a full refund (land content only). We very much regret having to take this action and our thoughts and sympathies are with the people of East Timor during this troubled time.
We are confident of being able to resume our normal schedule of trips to East Timor in 2007 and hope that those travellers who have had to cancel their plans this year will travel with us to East Timor in 2007.
